Schedule one of the Tynwald Auditor General Act 2011 contains provisions in relation to the appointment, qualifications, terms and conditions and removal of the Tynwald Auditor General.
The Act also requires the Tynwald Auditor General to:
- produce an annual report for Tynwald;
- attend meetings of the Public Accounts Committee and provide such advice and assistance to it as is practicable;
- obtain Tynwald Management Committee approval of his annual budget; and
- prepare accounts in respect of each financial year, which must be inspected in accordance with the Audit Act 2006 by a person selected for the purpose by the Public Accounts Committee.
